The Fuck-It List
So, here was the original Fuck-it list I mentioned here. Of course it's a work in progress, but so far, what do you think? Most require a minimum of three pigs to pull off.
1. Double-ended dildo ride with double penetration on top
2. Fisting chariot rides
3. Fisting 3-way
4. Sitting on double fist from above/sling bar
5. Spit roasting on the sling
6. Spit roasting in the vac-cube
7. Vac-cube with new electro box
8. Fucking daisy chain
9. Fisting daisy chain
10. Ball crushing and stretching in sling
11. Vac-cube 2-man bondage
12. Vac-cube 2-man breathplay
13. Vac-cube fisting
14. Mummification with wrap and tape
15. Sleepsack and electro
16. Spreader bar bondage with breathplay
17. Straightjacket with breathplay
18. Piss enemas
What else should I add?

Yes.
Should men over the age of 40 ever wear Lycra?
Lycra has a bad reputation, but there's a reason why cyclists of all ages wear this clever technical material, writes self-confessed MAMIL Andrew Critchlow
By Andrew Critchlow, The Telegraph 4:43PM BST 09 Jun 2014
A new survey by the British Heart Foundation has suggested that the thought of wearing Lycra is enough to put middle-aged people off cycling. Apparently, a third of the 2,000 professionals it polled thought that men over the age of 40 should never wear the stretchy stuff, while experts in the beauty industry think that the cut-off age is much lower, at just 27 years old.
The research also found that bankers, teachers, scientists and hairdressers were most likely to be fitness freaks, working out on average 3.4 times or more a week. A British Heart Foundation spokesman said that the charity wants everyone else to follow suit by joining the national cycling campaign, regardless of their job.
It's undeniable that there's a taboo attached to Lycra – but for it to inhibit a third of all people questioned from taking up cycling represents something of a tragedy. If you’re holding back from enjoying the health benefits of hitting the open road because of the fear of being branded a MAMIL (Middle Age Man in Lycra), then I can only think it’s the psychologist’s chair you need, rather than the bike saddle.
Of course, I can only speak for other cyclists on the matter, but regardless of age, shape, size or ability, Lycra wins hands down every time. First brought onto the mass market in the 1970s by the legendary Swiss cycle clothing Assos, the skin-hugging fabric has become an industry standard for the sport, offering a number of practical benefits.
Snug fitting clothing is essential to enhancing your enjoyment of cycling. It won’t snag on equipment, or fill up with air and act like a parachute to slow you down. New Lycra-based fabrics are also incredibly efficient, wicking away sweat from your skin and acting as a barrier to bacteria.
The alternative to Lycra kit is baggy shorts and a football shirt, which almost defeats the object of going for a bike ride in the first place. Whether you're out on a Sunday morning club ride or your daily commute to work, one of your principal aims will be to get from A to B in as little time as possible. Aerodynamic and robust, Lycra helps no end.
For me, the ritual of getting ready to go for a long ride has become part of cycling's appeal. Checking my tyre pressure, filling up my water bidon with Isostar, putting on a heart rate monitor belt and – yes – squeezing into Lycra shorts that were a better fit 10 years ago; this is what my hobby's about. Cycling has an almost mythical allure and the truth is that Lycra has a big part to play. Try it once and you never go back.
And then there's the psychological effect. Although I don't doubt that I look ridiculous to other road users, in my own mind I am just a few training rides shy of giving Chris Froome a run for his money in this year’s Tour de France. It's a great feeling, I promise – and it's available to you, whether you're 14 years old or 40.
And just in time for Tour Season...

Last Thursday
One of the regular-ish boys came over for some bondage and the vac-cube on Thursday afternoon. It was a fun quick session!
Stern
Wow, have I seriously not updated in a week? That's pretty sad. I don't think I was particularly busy this week, but alas I found a lot of things to do.
Not too much rubbery fun happened over the weekend. JW and I went out on Friday night in rubber to celebrate our friends D&H who had gotten married on Friday in Seattle and were having a marriage ceremony on Saturday afternoon in Vancouver. They went out with the leather crowd for a pub crawl on Friday night where JW and I showed up in rubber (of course).
Saturday was the wedding, a lot of fun, however Mr. P wasn't feeling all that well on Saturday so we went home after the wedding...I felt that maybe I should have gone out afterwards, but I was feeling a little shell shocked from the amount of money we put towards the wedding anyways, so it was just as well that we went home.
Sunday I had to work...system failover testing from 9am to 3:30pm. I felt my day had pretty much been shot but Mr. P and I managed to get out and visit a few friends in the early evening. I had tried to find out whether any of the buds wanted to play today but everyone was busy with other things. Damn you Canadian summer and your overstimulating event calendars!
I'm on vacation again on Thursday June 26 to Wednesday July 2. JW and I are heading down to Seattle on the 26th for the Robyn-Royksopp show at Marymoor Field in Redmond on Thursday evening and then partaking in some Seattle Pride festivities on Friday night before heading back to Vancouver. JW has tickets for the Queen/Adam Lambert show on Saturday night, I'm okay with heading home since I wouldn't mind having a few days off at home, plus Mr. P goes back in for his last chemo treatment on June 30-July 2. I might have a rubber friend coming over from Victoria on the evening of July 29 that might stay until July 1, and I'm hoping to put together another rubber play party at the condo on the evening of June 30 since Mr. P will be in the hospital that night.
Wish me luck! Have a good week!
I have a meet with my rubber repair crew who are incidentally also making my new (still a secret) rubber outfit. I have been having a lot of bad luck with repairs this year; it seems that I have as many outfits needing repair as I have that don't. Everytime I go over to J & R's to pick up repairs, I have as many to drop off again.
This time, the black Libidex catsuit has some small tears along the crotch zipper, and the relatively new Invincible play catsuit has tears in the shoulder; these are typical repairs for my rubber, unfortunate that it needs to be fixed...again!
As well, I'm hoping they will fix a lot of press studs in some of my rubber pants and harnesses that need some TLC.
I would ask for advice on how to prevent so many tears and stuff from happening, but I suspect it's simply a matter of utilization rates of all these outfits and the fact I have so many different men in them at some point or other ;)

Fisting Lubes
Lately my playmates and I have discovered the joys and economical benefits of using Xanthan Gum as a fisting lube; we are pretty happy with its consistency and lifespan. I originally got put on Xanthan Gum by a fisting buddy in Seattle; those guys like to add different things to add froth or more structure to the slippery stuff, however because we are always in rubber when using it, the less ingredients harmful to rubber the better. Though it still does dry out and does not preserve, you can make so much from such small amounts of gum powder, having to throw a bit out now and then doesn't seem such a big deal.
It sure is easier to clean up than anything else we've used, and as far as I've researched has no bad effects on the human body, particularly when coming in from the ass rather than the mouth, though I gather there aren't too many research papers written on the long-term effects of using it as a fisting lube. Because it's used all over the food industry I will assume it is safe to fill a rectum up with it!
It dries rather quickly like any water-based lube. It dries into funny flakes of brownness, but everything washes and wipes up very easily; much easier than J-lube.
We have been using 1 tablespoon of powder to 1.5 cups of water (2 tablespoons for 3 cups) and this consistency seems to be pretty decent.
Here's another recipe from Red Hanky Handball:
Anyways, I'm curious to hear some guys' experiences with xanthan gum. Yes or no?

In response to the Fist Powder, I recently started making my own, from Fist Powder's basic ingredient, Xanthan Gum. Here's my mix, posted previously on asspig forum: My AMAZING batch of xanthan gum lube: 16oz hot water into a Kitchen Aid mixing bowl, 1oz (by weight) Xanthan Gum. Mixed at medium speed for 2-3 minutes. 16 drops of clove oil (for pleasing scent and mild desensitizer) and then 2 teaspoons of *Maltodextrin (thickener). Left the mixer running for 5 more minutes. End results was a consistency of "Slime", that goopy toy stuff from the 70's. Very easy to inject with a large syringe or cooking baster. Add a little water during play and the slippery factor increases a LOT. Be careful in the shower or bath. For around $10 I got enough Xanthan Gum at Whole Foods Market to make nearly 10 batches of lube. How can you go wrong? Some guys like to use desensitizers for fisting too, though we've never had to use...we're not deadset on getting wider or deeper, just having a fisting top work a hole over for hours seems to satisfy the group I play with. Maybe at some point in the future it will become a competitive sport, and then we might look at modifying our lube ingredients somewhat. I have tried the desensitizers with a harder-core player than me and could certainly take bigger toys deeper.

2018 update: I failed to mention in this post that I do, in fact, add a drop or two of coconut oil or clove oil into this mix in order to provide some emulsification and slickness to the recipe. It makes for a lovely lube at a reasonable cost! The concern with the oils, of course, is the application on latex. I don't suggest it, however I haven't found incidental application of coconut oil on latex to be particularly bad. I wouldn't recommend immersing the latex in the oil, however!

Rubbery Weekend
What a great weekend! It went by very fast but it offered a lot of opportunities for a lot of fun.
Mr. P and I stayed home on Friday night and watched movies. I wanted to be well rested in anticipation for Saturday's activities, plus Mr. P still isn't recovered from the latest chemotherapy session so it was just nice to stay in bed and snuggle for the evening.
Rob and I went food shopping early on Saturday to prep for the Rubbout volunteer appreciation BBQ in the afternoon at Mitch's place. Approximately 20 guys that helped out at Rubbout showed up for the BBQ. We had a lot of fun socializing and eating and there was barely anything left at the end of the party which is another indication that Rob and I are finally hitting our stride as organizers. Less waste, more efficiency! HA!
After the party ended just after 7pm, M, KSG, Mr. P and I went home and started setting up for play night. We put up the new (to me) vac-cube in the living room and took turns getting in naked. I had the inaugural turn as a exploratory attempt to figure out optimal positioning in order for the ass to be in a perfectly sealable position at the rear entry hole. We finally figured it out as Slickthrob arrived to join us. My old carcass was getting a bit sore holding different unsupportable positions, so I got out.
We put Slickthrob in the cube next and worked both of his ends. He quickly took toys and a fist in the rear and M's cock in the front. We saw that it was shortly after 10pm already and wanted to have the vacuum shut off by 11pm so M took his turn in the cube and we proceeded to apply the same techniques on him, without complaint...or delay! :)
We geared up in some initial rubber and did rounds of electro on each other in the sling with M's new home-made electro box. I gotta say running through those music tracks was definitely a different sensation! While M & KSG were playing in the sling, Slickthrob and I fucked over the bed while Mr. P, feeling tired again, lay there and watched me get all 'toppy' on Slickthrob pretty fucking hot.
KSG was tired and went home around 2:30am while M, Slickthrob, and I geared up in full rubber and started the heavy ass playing in the sling. I managed to chariot ride the both of them and we had a bit of pissplay before Slickthrob went home around 5am. After that, M and I went into our typical flip-flop fist mode until we decided to shut it down around 8am. M went home and I crashed.
I was up around noon, cleaned the house, scrubbed the depravity drippings off the floors. My friend J came over mid-afternoon, we had a few beers and and then J and I dressed up for our support of IDOL Day (International Day of Latexwear) and went to the beer bust at Pumpjack until 8pm or so. It was my first time at the pub since the expansion. It is a much improved space and a lot more modular for a variety of different uses. Some of my friends are concerned that it is going to go full nightclub there, but I don't think that's the case. They will certainly do that on Friday and Saturday nights, but I think for the rest of the time it's going to be the same old Pumpjack.
It was an opportunity to visit with a lot of friends, then J and I decided it was time to go home for food and bed! Wow, was I ever tired!
Fun weekend! It was long overdue and exciting to have all the fuckbuddies in one place to see how the dynamics worked. Gotta say it seems like everyone got along and had a lot of fun! I hope we can schedule another one very soon.
I had actually put together a 'fuckit list' of things I want to try with this eager gang of guys, and jokingly (or not??) announced the list to them on Saturday night. We got through a few of the items, but there are still so many more to go! I can't wait to pick up where we left off! In addition J & S want to play again, we'll have to fit them in somewhere between now and the end of the month.
It was too cool and rainy for rubber but Mitch and I represented. |

Rubbout @ Pride
I'm very excited to announce that we are hosting a sexy men's Pride Party at Club 8x6 this year! It's our first foray into a Rubbout-organized party outside of the bar nights at Pumpjack and the April weekend. I hope this works out well, we're going to make it simple and easy to access, simply $20 at the door.

Full Moon
Today is special in that it is Friday the 13th of June and also a full moon. I'm hoping that translates into lots of kinky highjinks over the weekend...the prognosis is looking good :)
It looks like rubber is taking a front-and-center position for most of the weekend.
Tonight is Vancouver Men in Leather social night at Pumpjack Pub. It is also the opening night for the newly expanded Pumpjack. Last fall Pumpjack announced they were buying the business next to them on the east side, knocking down the wall and doubling the square footage of the bar. Along with the necessary structural changes and licensing requirements, this is going to increase the capacity of the pub from 109(ish) to 240. Construction started the week before Rubbout at the end of March and is nearly complete now, at least complete enough to inaugurate the new dance floor and DJ booth tonight now that all permits have been received!
I have high hopes that Pumpjack will breathe some much-needed fresh air into the otherwise stagnating Davie Village, and I know that the regulars of the old establishment are excited about the facelift. We will have to wait to see whether the increased size and new paintjob (along with small deck off the back of the building) will translate into new faces showing up to check it out and some much-needed younger clientele.
I also have been told that Pumpjack will continue (and even wants to strengthen) its ties with Vancouver's fetish and kink communities. I really see the Pub being the Hub of many Rubbouts to come, especially for the socializing events and the activities such as Gear Swap and Pup Mosh...now that we can hold both of these events simultaneously IN THE SAME VENUE!
For the first time in a long time, the gay village in Vancouver has a space big enough to hold sizeable community events. I really hope this means good things for Rubbout and similar events like it in the future.
I foresee donning some rubber tonight with some friends and heading out to twirl around in the newly expanded space.

Saturday is our Rubbout Volunteer Appreciation BBQ. Rob and I are going to pick up the food and beverages tomorrow morning. As the forecast is for rain all weekend, we are going to have to do some modifications to the party space at Mitch's; approximately 20 guys have RSVPed which is actually up from last year. I'm looking forward to hosting and having some fun! To rubber up or not to rubber up? It might depend on whether I'm the BBQ Chef or not! :)
As it turns out, both M and KSG are back in town this week after some time away; I've already warned them that we are getting together for some playtime Saturday night after the BBQ. Whether it's immediately after or after checking out a Saturday night fetish party or two remains to be seen. The icing on the cake is that B is planning on joining us too. I'm already getting hard thinking about the possibilities. I told Mr. P yesterday that I had written a list of potential 'scenes to materialize' for the night; he figures I should put up a bulletin board and we can strike-through each activity as we accomplish it! :-P
I'm going to try and capture in images as much of the action as I can. I love getting a boner at work looking through the pics of our dirty perverted fun from weekends past.
M the electrician has been building an electrosex box from scratch that will run music files. We're supposed to be giving it a test run this weekend. In addition, I am buying Mitch's transparent latex fisting vac-cube tonight and I hope that at some point Saturday night or Sunday morning we get to try it out. I really want to try two men in the cube with breathing lines to the neck and ass holes to see what sexy bondage positions we can hold as the air is sucked out. I also want to try out the pissplay gear.
Sunday is the 'International Day of Latexwear (IDOL)' that was started as a meme on Facebook; just out of fun, a few of us are probably going to go to the Sunday afternoon beer bust in rubber as a show of solidarity with all of our rubber brothers and sisters around the world. It's silly, fun, and I hope to post some pics!
All in all, it's setting up to be a super-fun rubbery full moon blowout. If you get the chance, put on some rubber and enjoy your weekend! :-D

From the "How Could This Possibly Happen?" Files
Bah hah hah hah! Not sure how this was approved and not scrutinized, but it's even funnier that it was erected over a children's playground, and then, sadly, promptly dismantled.
