Kinky?

Last Sunday evening I got ready to go to Kinky? Night at the Amsterdam Rhino with Dennis. I got all dressed up in my rubber club outfit while Dennis donned one of his RadicalSpeed luge suits that his company sells. We didn't really know what to expect at this event, and it was a 'straight disappointment' to say the least. At least it fulfilled our expectations that it would be the women that made the effort to dress up. Most of the guys there were just wearing street clothes -- what a bunch of lame-os. Dennis and I certainly were the center of attention for the male persuasion, that's for sure. Got lots of looks from both sexes, but when you're the only one wearing skintight rubber in a bar, who wouldn't look? We know now that the Fetish Night at the Calgary Eagle must certainly be a better bang for the buck than this event ($0 vs. $15). Poor straight people -- having to pay big bucks for a mediocre event. It's good to learn these things, although the lesson can sometimes cost a few bucks. It's also times like that that I'm glad I'm gay. It's too bad that most straight guys are so unimaginative and/or hyper-sensitive about their masculinity! Like somehow showing off your body or wearing something risqué is unmasculine. How is that? Is the concern that you may look too gay? You're at a fetish event, fer chrissakes. Get over yourself.

Every person on this earth, At one time or another, during their life, has some sort of a fetish, But what happens is many guys would hide or conceal it. Or they would try to block it. Or secretly go to the videos, websites, look into these events, or pics time and time again. But they would not take that push to actually get some gear, or a uniform or some clothing. Because the press, media, and society says this is wrong. That this is something a normal person does not do. Many straight guys let society dictate to them, what they can, and cannot do. They are like walking robots, and live in a cocoon. They wrap themselves in a security blanket,
And they lead a very sheltered life. And what happens is so many of them, because they cannot open up and get some gear, or a uniform, or some piece of clothing, they get miserable inside. So many of them are so stressed out. They do not know how to enjoy life, or be happy. And yet they will go time and time again to videos like yours, or pics, websites, or blogs, and watch or view them time and time again.

How do I know what I said is so true? I was, and have been one of them. But what has happened with me is I have realized, what all I am misisng. I see people like you enjoying life, and having fun. I read what you say, about what it is like to wearing rubber, a gasmask, and opening up to it all, more and more. And I see all I have been missing, and how sheltered a life I really have been living. Becasue life is way too short, and it is time to enjoy it! ANd people like you, as well as so many others are..ANd I am not going to live in a bubble anymore! TIme I did not let the press and media guide me, as to what I can and cannot do, or live my life like a robot. Going to open up more and more. Wish only other "straight guys" could open up and do the same thing to!!

Way to go, Joe....do it! Life's WAY too short to blindly follow uni-directional morality from the whorish media. They're all a bunch of hypocritical bastards anyways.

Honestly, what do you have to lose? You might even find some people to share your interests with. It certainly makes life less lonely and a bit more exhilarating if you come out of your comfort zone a little. It also makes you realize that you're not alone, there are lots of others like you, and most of what 'they' tell us is in fact the furthest from the truth.

It's an evolution though. When I started out, I felt like I was the only one too. The Internet certainly helped change that as did talking to trusted people about it and realizing that pretty much anything 'abnormal' you can think of, well, somebody somewhere is trying it out. That's human nature.

Realistically, most of the rest of the world isn't quite ready to make the leap into things that they don't understand, and with that knowledge you have to know when, where, and with whom to try out these new things. That being said, once you get comfortable with your new persona, it results in a lot less anxiety when comtemplating the next step. Play safe and think things out before you proceed.

Matt,

I really like what you said, and what you said makes so much sense.
And I am so happy, that I am not one of those people, we see that cannot see both sides of the coin.
And as we know, the world is flooded with them. Those one sided people, who will jump to conclusions, or say wearing a suit of rubber, or gas mask is just plain wrong! Or be one to block people from putting videos up on you tube or x tube. Or make nasty comments about ones videos or pics. But yet, I am sure if you went and looked in their internet history of their computer, these are the very people going to like your videos, or your pics. And doing so time, and time again.
And wishing that was me. But just cannot let go that plastic bubble they are living in. Where it is nice and secure.

It was like the event you and your partner, went to, in the rubber gear. I am sure there were strange looks, you saw people there looking at you. Might of heard, people saying, under there breath comments. But I am sure some of them said in the inside. Wow, look at how much fun Dennis, and Matt are really having! No fear whatsover! Look at how they are living life to the fullest. Why can't this be me?

And once you begin to leave your comfort zone, you pop that bubble, oh how great it feels to do so. As you can see, I allready have done this, by getting a Russian Gas Mask, and love to wear it. Love how it feels on my face. Love to hear the sounds of that rubber, and how it makes a tight seal on your face. TO me that is a sign I know how to enjoy life. A sign, I am not afraid. And there is nothing wrong with wearing one. Just love the videos, of one wearing that mask. Putting one on, and hearing those sounds! Would love to see a video of you doing so, with the rubber mask on!

And yes, I have gotten some rubber gear, but, it was molded, and did not last. ANd I see so many websites selling it, but not sure which one to get it from. So if you can give me some advice where to get some good rubber gear, and what to look for in it,
I would apppreciate that very much!
You can email me if you like with that info.

Thanks Again Matt!!

You said something Matt, that is so true:

"...realizing that pretty much anything 'abnormal' you can think of, well, somebody somewhere is trying it out. That's human nature..."

And this is so true. Mean just look at how many videos, there are on you tube, where young people imitate, and copy jackass like stunts. Or a guy getting in a jeep, an ATV, and driving deep in a mud puddle, and trying to get out of it. Everyone always wants to test human nature, on one level or another. It is there own way to get away from the hectic crazy world we live in. A way to let go, and relieve some stress. Yes to one it might seem that is crazy. You might get hurt, or you
might damage your vehicle. But man will always test, try, dare, try to conquer. In any way they can.
It reminds me of when I was a heavy lifter. You see guys trying to lift numbers they never could of imagined. You see guys getting seriously hurt by doing it. But it will not stop them. They will always try to hit those numbers, and get really crazed in wanting to do so.

And these are all sane people. Have good jobs, or go to school or, college.

THis is another part of human nature too. that like to touch on. And that is what happens inside of a guy internally, wanting to stroke or massage, and get excited inside, is a natural thing. No matter what age they are! THis is something that happens in each and every guy! Man was created like this. We cannot hide this, or deny this. And when you finally realize it does not make us a evil or bad person. Or damn us by wanting to do it, when we have that urge to want to. It is those that do, and try to hold back these urges, or feels wanting to do it, that even the experts have said this is unheatlhy for one to do so.

But if you can open up. If you can see all of this, once and for all. You see your videos Matt or Fox Zatts, and realize that wanting to get in some rubber, and put on a gas mask, won't make you abnormal. It doesn't make you a bad or a evil person. But this makes you more sane. Becasue this is a great way to escape. Getting in a rubber suit, putting on that gas mask, is when you really look at it, (and not one sided either), a way to leave this absoltuely crazy , hectic, so stressful, and doom and gloom, world, we are bombarded with everyday, in the press, and media . And getting in a suit, and a mask, totally shutting yourself, from the outside real world. And going into a world of peace, of tranquility. Where all you do is feel. All you do is hear your breathing. And it is very hypnotic. All you hear in the gas mask is your breathing. ANd you go into a hypnotic trance.
You get so relaxed. Not a world of doom and gloom. But true inner peace. And it excites you. You feel so good, and you do not want to leave it. Becasue this is how the world should really be like.
And when you finally take it all off, you are rejuvenated. YOu feel so refreshed, and really ready to walk out the door, and face the world today.

But you always realize when you do get so caught up in the world today. When you get so stressed out, or ready to pull your hair out, with everything going on in your life today. When you just can't stand one more doom and gloom tabloid tv show, or another hour, of a 24 hour news show. You don't have to spend hudreds of dollars on a vacation, to get away. You have a rubber suit, and a gas mask. That you can get in, and strap on, and totally leave this world. And do it anytime you want.

Yes to some, this might sound abnormal. Or someone would scratch ones head, if they see a video, or pic of one in it all, or just a gas mask. But that is becasue they do not understand it at all. But in the end...you know in the back of their mind, they are saying.. wow that looks so cool. I like to try it, experience it all. ANd if they open up and see all you do Matt in wanting to be in it, they would be so much happier in life, more relaxed, and be able to cope, with the doom and gloom, stress, negativity, we are bomarded with each and everyday!!!
