Glut

Here it is a few weekends after the holidays and we end up with a Saturday with way too many things for the kink community to do. I don't think many of the organizers talked to each other about the dates of their events, but certainly everyone felt like there was a need to kick off 2011 right! :)

The organizers of Rubbout have been guerilla marketing at the Vancouver Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show at the Vancouver Convention Centre. I was rubbered up and floating around there yesterday but there wasn't much of our target market floating around the convention halls. I'm going back today with a couple of friends to see if the demographics of the show have gayed up a bit. I'll have some pics of that to post tomorrow.

Last night we went to the Vancouver Men in Leather Shiny Leather party at Numbers then back to Pumpjack.

Tonight is the busy night. The first 'Show Your Stuff' contest takes place at Pumpjack. Tonight is leather, Tolliver is hosting. Vancouver Men in Leather have teamed up with PCAN (Pacific-Canadian Association of Nudists) for a 'Leather or Less' Party at WISE Hall, and Noir Fetish Ball at the Cobalt. The Noir party is supposed to be going on on the third Saturday of every month...I am not sure if that's conflicting with Sin City? Why would they schedule this to compete, I'm not sure. At any rate, there's a lot of stuff to rubber up for and choose from this weekend!

I guess Mitch told the owners of Pumpjack that they we were going to do a rubber invasion at the Blackout Night on the 29th (also the next 'Show Your Stuff', now they're marketing it as a Rubber Invasion! How funny is that? That's two weekends from now; there's also a 'Fetish Unrestricted' Sin City going on next weekend (they're on the first and third Saturdays of the month, always with a theme!). Lots to do - I love it!
