Seems to be the new trend...well, not that emulating certain uniforms or outfits in latex hasn't been done before, but the detail put into the latex motorcycle suits, looking a lot like the original leather ones only tighter and shinier is a very hot, pervy direction to go in! The results are impressive!
Check out

Yep, though this isn't an absolutely new trend.
A guy whom I used to know in the UK had a couple Dainese-"branded" latex suits in about 2003. He seems to have dropped off the face of the planet, but I wasn't the only one who forgot him.
Among others, Bodisama (who is no longer with us) and a couple other crafty gearheads took inspiration from that and started to make their own. So they were popping up elsewhere, just not particularly common yet.
The pick-up in this really happened in about 2010. Around then, a few shops that would make custom designs started offering them on a semi-mass-market basis. So they're becoming more available... and more affordable.
Just remember, latex has zero protection in a motorcycle crash. Wear the real thing when riding. :)
