I have been juggling the idea of throwing a Skintight Party in Vancouver sometime in the future. How successful do you think a skintight party in the theme of the SkintightUSA parties would go off in the Northwest? I would certainly enjoy trying to do it; I might even approach some of my event producer friends to see if they would be interested in co-producing it on one of their bar nights....

Given what seems to be a big interest in sports gear and skintight stuff among the younger guys in town, maybe this would work well! :-)

Gear Weekend

This past weekend was the second of the month, which means Gear Nights at PJ and HD on Friday night. The weekend started with a bang and keep flying all weekend. It was a good one!

Friday night Mr. P and I went to PJ for the VML social. It started slowly but gained momentum by 9:30-10. We ran into friends and stayed until shortly after midnight when we went to HD to check out the new Harness night. I think we missed critical mass by 30 minutes however the potential of this night looks really good!

Saturday I got up, got Mr. P's valentine gifts, cleaned up the condo, we went for brunch and then headed to Meat Draw with the gang. It was fun, we came home after and decided we were going to go to the P-CAN Naked Valentine's Party. We got there around 10 and had a good time. I talked to some of the exec guys later who said there were almost 60 guys there. Their numbers seem to go up and down, so we commiserated on how to bolster numbers at these events. Given it was Valentine's Day I think the numbers probably weren't that bad.

Sunday we got up. I had a rubber fisting playdate set up with SlickThrobnHole at his place so I got over there around 2pm. We did a session each in the sling, then got on his double-ended dildo for another 90 minutes or so before deciding to wrap it up. I got home around 8:45, played a bit more, ate and went to bed. Mr. P was out and I was already asleep when he got home!

SlickThrobnHole took some pics and vids so I am expecting to have some fresh fodder for Xtube in the next couple weeks. We are also hoping to get a session together with Cumpigcub on the 28th. Hopefully it works out!

The Rise of Latex

There are more and more and more articles about the trend of latex having it's moment in the fashion world. I think we are definitely seeing more latex in general in the fetish world due to its exposure in fashion, music and film. With the release of 50 Shades of Grey this weekend, however you feel about the books and movie, it's possible that even more people will be exposed to the world of fetish because of it.

I have noticed more guys out there experimenting with rubber and I am trying my hardest to oblige those that want to try it out. I would love to build an arsenal of 'Try Rubbout Out" wardrobe that we could bring out for different events....I was impressed that RMSF has a few items donated by their sponsors that they keep available for guys to try on at their events. I will have to figure out how to do the same, and I'm thinking that at the Rubbout kickoff we might attempt that.

I feel that some of us well-embedded in the community have been banging the drums for a decade or two now, and we are finally seeing some return from our efforts in the interest latex holds for some guys in the younger demographic groups...it is becoming more acceptable and mainstream to experiment in your sexual interests and fetishwear is certainly becoming more visible outside the bedroom or dungeon.
